Our Story

The cricket club plays a huge role as a sports club at the Heriot-Watt University. Being the only university team to represent UAE in the Red Bull World Finals for 3 consecutive years, it gives us the status of the best university cricket team in the UAE. From recruiting fresh talent at the beginning of the semester till the closing ceremony at the end of the academic year, the cricket club management puts in a lot of effort and professionalism in their activities to ensure that certain standards are met to not just excel among other clubs in the university itself, but be the best in the country simultaneously. We are always looking for new talent through offline hunts and have created a fun and competitive environment simultaneously to produce quality results. We have practice and fitness sessions regularly and participate in tournaments quite often. So there are a lot of opportunities for students to prove themselves throughout the year!
